How to buy from us: ordering from the website

Opening an account

An account can be created by clicking account setup on the home page.  Alternatively you can create an account after completing your order.  If you are a customer from an educational establishment it is recommended that you request an invoice account to avail of the invoice payment option and the quotation request facility.

Guest customer

If you would prefer not to register, you can process your order as a guest and pay by credit card, laser/debit card, gift voucher or invoice (available to educational establishments and companies only and subject to approval by Cregal Art).

Advantages of being a registered private customer

Faster: Your order will be processed faster as you don't have to re-enter your details.

Permanent Cart: If you are logged in, your order will be saved if you wish to complete it at a later time or date.

Wishlist: You can add products to a list which can be emailed to a friend or converted to a cart at a later time or date.

Order history:  You will be able to view previous orders and add them to your current cart*.  The cart can then be edited to meet your current needs.

Advantages of being a registered invoice customer

Invoice payment:  As well as the option to pay by gift voucher, credit or laser/debit card, you will also be able to pay by invoice and have the option of providing a purchase order number.

Quotation function:  If you are logged in as an invoice customer you can add items to a quotation by clicking ‘Add to Quote’ instead of ‘Add to Basket’.

Card Payment

We accept all major credit and laser/debit card payment.  All card payments are processed using "Realex Payment" which is a third party secure payment system.  See www.realexpayments.ie for further details. 

Gift Voucher

You can pay for an order by gift voucher even if the voucher is less than the value of the order.  A member of staff will contact you for the payment balance.

Invoice Payment

Educational establishments and companies can pay for orders by invoice.  You can apply for an invoice account when registering.  The option to register is on the home page, cart page (by clicking "log in") or on completion of your order.  Unfortunately private customers cannot pay by invoice.

Other ways for educational establishments or companies to place an order

Guest Customer:

 If you would prefer not to register, you can process your order as a guest and choose to pay by invoice from the payment section (subject to approval by Cregal Art and if not approved we will contact you for an alternative method of payment).

Request a quotation first

This is available to approved invoice customers i.e. customers that requested an invoice account when registering and have been approved.  If you are already registered and would like to apply for an invoice account please email info@cregalart.ie

A quote is created in the same way as an order; the only difference is that you click ‘add to quote’ instead of ‘add to cart’.  When you have compiled your quotation simply go to the cart and click request a quote.  Cregal Art will then respond with a quotation to the email address provided on your account.  There is also a comment box if you would like to receive a quote for items not on our website, or to request that we send the quotation to an alternative email address etc.

Print your cart

This function is available on the cart page and can be used to:

Fax a quotation before ordering.

Fax an order.

Circulate internally to acquire order approval.

Email your cart

This function is also available on the cart page and can be used to:

Email the cart to a colleague for order approval or collaboration. 

Email a quotation request to info@cregalart.ie.

Delivery times

Orders of 10 items or less are delivery within 2-3 working days (even sooner on request without additional charges).

Larger orders are typically delivered within 3-5 working days.

Delivery Charges

The carriage charge is based on the weight and/or number of parcels.  The carriage charge for your active order can be seen on bottom of the cart page.

There is a delivery charge of €5.95 per parcel (25kg or less).

Carriage Free for a single parcel: Orders to the value of €75 and consisting of one parcel (<25kg) are carriage free.  A charge of €5.95 applies to each additional parcel.  Most orders usually fit into a single parcel. Multiple parcel orders usually consist of heavy or bulky items e.g. clay, reams of paper, large canvases etc.

Carriage Free for multiple parcels: For each €75 spent a further parcel is delivered free of charge.  e.g. if you spend €150 and have 2 parcels there is no carriage charge, but if you spend €120 and have 2 parcels, a carriage charge of €5.95 will apply.

Returns & Refunds

Please contact Cregal Art Ltd if any items are damaged or unsuitable within 7 days.

- Goods must be returned within 14 days with proof of purchase and a reason for returning.

- Costs incurred for returning goods are not refundable, except in the event of damaged goods.

- Goods must be returned in original, unopened packaging.

Prices

To the best of our knowledge all prices shown on the website are correct and include Vat @ 23% (except for books which are Vat exempt). In the event that there is a price change we will notify you before your order is dispatched.

Student/Artist/Teacher Discount

The website prices include the student, artist and teacher discount.

Opening Hours

Website: The website is open to orders permanently but queries in relation to orders will be responded to Monday to Friday, 9.15am until 5.30pm. Orders are delivered on weekdays and we are unable to deliver on the weekend or public holidays.

Shop:  Monday to Saturday from 9.15am until 6.00pm.
