Epoxy Resin UV Ultra Clear

Epoxy Casting Resin Ultra Clear 75 (Size: 1.43kg) is the clearest epoxy for large castings on the European market and is suitable for crystal clear casting of thick layers up to 7.5 centimetres. The Ultra Clear epoxy casting resin is very resistant to UV light preventing discolouration. The epoxy is often used for casting clear objects, tables, art, casting flowers and river tables from 10 to 75 millimetres in layer thickness. Epoxy casting resin ultra clear is used for decorative purposes where the end result generally has to be transparent and crystal clear, but can be excellently combined with color pigments.

Properties:
- Temperature has an impact on the curing of epoxy. The indicated layer thicknesses apply at 18-21°C. We advise against making large castings at a temperature higher than 21 degrees because there is a chance that the epoxy will become too hot during curing. At 28 degrees the maximum layer thickness will be halved.
- The heat resistance of the casting resin is a maximum of 40 degrees.
- The epoxy resin can crystallize when it has been cold, heat the tank for about 10 minutes in hot water (Max 65°C) to make it liquid and clear again.
- Approximately 1kg of epoxy casting resin is required for pouring per 1 millimeter of thickness on 1 square meter
