Paper raffia yarn made from 100% wood fibre with many creative uses. Use raffia yarn for knitting, crocheting, weaving, decoration and so on. Raffia is 100% biodegradable and can be washed gently by hand. Depending on the desired expression and application, we recommend 5.00mm or 5.50mm knitting needles and 4.50mm or 5.00mm crochet hooks.

Raffia yarn can tolerate heat up to 200 °C. The natural look of raffia make it a beautiful material to use for home decor in a wide range of contexts – including knitted or crocheted trivets, placemats etc. The raffia ribbon is also ideal for winding and weaving into coiled baskets, bowls and so on.
